Today was Tyler’s 23rd birthday. Although some may say it’s his 75th. We have been having such an amazing time with him back in the group and we cannot wait for more! Happy Birthday‼️

Today is Meagan’s 20th birthday! Our NEW PRESIDENT is celebrating today!!!🎉

Meagan is our incredibly talented powerhouse soprano and she SLAYS! ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 Her beautiful personality, insane skills, and amazing attitude make us SO lucky to have her☀️ We love her dearly and know she’s gonna do amazing stuff💗 Be sure to wish her a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Hi! My name is Hannah Divin (she/her) and I am SO excited to be Impromptu’s new music director! I’m a Choral Music Ed major with an Adaptive Music Certificate. I’m really looking forward to directing our competitive set, learning new songs, [AND] collaborating with the group to make music! A fun fact about me is that I am addicted to caffeine.

Now that the school year is over, we are excited to announce the new executive board! First up is our President Meagan!

Hi! My name is Meagan Maiers and I am SO excited to be taking on the role of president this upcoming school year!! Currently, I am a unified special and elementary education major (UEM)! A fun fact about me is that I have 4 cats and a betta fish named Slay.🐱🐱🐱🐱🐠

Tyler joined Impromptu in 2022 and has been with us for a year and a half. He served as our treasurer this year 💵 His favorite solo song was Shotgun/Budapest and his favorite Impromptu memory was singing Melancholy for the first time in a stairwell this semester ☺️ Tyler’s will be graduating next year with a finance and marketing double major. In the meantime, he will be working at the bank as well as writing songs for fun🎶🎶🎶 We love him and will miss him dearly!

Tyler joined Impromptu this semester and we have dearly enjoyed our time with him ♥️ His fantastic attitude and amazing talent made us so lucky to have him! He loved singing Focus this semester and his favorite Impromptu memory was competing at Acapocalypse 🎶🎶 Tyler’s next move is to work and continue in his business management program! We love him and will miss him dearly!

Neala joined Impromptu in 2020 and has been with us for three years. She has served as media manager, vice president, music director, and president in that time! Her favorite solo song was High Heels 👠 and her favorite Impromptu memory was Jessica as our mascot 💃 Neala’s next move is to continue working to graduate with a Marketing major and music minor 👩‍🎓 We love her and will miss her dearly!

McKinley joined Impromptu in 2019 and has been with us for four years. He has served as president, music director, vice-president, and media manager in that time! His favorite solo song was My My My! and his favorite Impromptu memory was competing at Acapocalypse and singing at his alma mater, Oak Creek HS.
McKinley will be graduating with a B.S. in Music with an Arts Administration certificate. His next move is moving with his fiancé to Wauwatosa and looking forward to planning a wedding that will be a chance for many group members to come together again 🤍 We love him and will miss him dearly!

Emily joined Impromptu in 2020 and has been with us for three years. For two of those, she has served as our media manager (and LOVED it 😉) Her favorite solo song was Where Have You Been by Rihanna and her favorite Impromptu memory was taco baco nights after Thursday rehearsals 🌮 Emily will be spending her last semester focusing on graduating in December with a degree in graphic design🎨 We love her and will miss her dearly!

Cole joined Impromptu in 2020 and has been with us for three years. He has served as our choreographer and brand manager for two years💃 Cole’s favorite solo songs were Bang Bang 💥and Kill the Lights. His favorite Impromptu memory was winning second place, best choreo, and best one hit wonder at Acapocalypse this year! Cole will be student teaching in fall and will graduate in December with a degree in choral music education. We love him and will miss him dearly!

Hey everyone! It's audition day!

Impromptu is holding auditions for next year this evening at 5pm in Haas Lobby. Effective this semester, auditions for Impromptu are now open to all UWEC students. Those looking to audition are being asked to prepare a verse and a chorus of a song of their choice, and to showcase any vocal percussion skills they might have.

We hope to see you there and can't wait to welcome new faces!
