Thanks to everyone for coming out today. Bears picked a big sweep of the cavs this afternoon on Dave Strauch day. Great to see so many past players and Bears family out to celebrate Dave's great career.
Game 1 Bears came out on fire in the first 2 innings going up 12-0 after 2. The score would stay there the rest of the way. Bears tallied 12 hits on the game, lead by Hunter Guenther who would finish 3-3 2R 3RBI 1HR. Joe Halling had a big day going 2-3 while driving in 4. Ryan Flock picked up the W allowing just 2 hits over 4ip. Game ends after 5 12-0.
Game 2 was a good battle by both squads. The Bears bats were asleep until the 4th inning and Bears picked up 5 runs over the final 3 innings. Bears had 8 hits game 2. Hunter Guenther finished off a perfect day at the plate going 2-2 1R 1RBI 1BB. Tyler Plitzner ended his day with a clutch 2 run homerun in the 6th to give the Bears a 4 run lead going into the final inning. Plitz would finish 2-3 1R 2RBI 1HR. Chevy Tollefson picks up a win throwing the complete game 7ip 7H 2R 1ER 3K 0BB.

Bears finish off Augusta last night with a score of 11-5. Hunter Guenther threw 5 1/3 to pick up the win on the mound. Jameson Bender would finish the game with the save.
Bears were lead offensively by the red hot Todd Lasher, who would go 3-3 including a double, 4rbi, and 2 walks. Hunter Guenther also went 3-3 1rbi, 3 runs, 2 walks, and 2 Stolen Bases. Jack Sandvik also knocked in 3 runs on the evening.
Bears are now 14-3 and will head to Osseo next week in a huge divisional matchup with first place implications. Go Bears 🐻
