Stopped by the dam while driving through. Very slow day but empty. Still filled half a cooler in 45mins.

Squid season is over, and about 3rd week of may to July, shad will run up in Columbia. It’s one of the most fun fishing we have in Washington. Also, no limit. Place your order now while in stock. They will be hard to find during season. If you buy directly, they are $20 for box of 50 darts. The brass hook darts are the best for their color and for the bend it provides. Their mouth is weak and the bend provides some cushion to prevent the hook from ripping off their mouth.

1/4 - pier 70 squid are small but many are around. Caught 45 for about 2 lbs in 1.5 hrs. Edmonds squid are big (jumbos) but less in numbers. About 30 for 5lbs in 1.5 hrs.

When using two jigs inline. Make sure the top one is unweighted. Having a weighted top jig will cause you to jig the top jig and swing the bottom jig to tangle the top jig. Not to mention poor jigging action.

Pinks on the pier. Hooked 5 pinks last two days in a row.
