Community Cat Advocates

Community Cat Advocates is comprised of a group of devoted animal advocates that have been diligently TNRing feral cat colonies in Vallejo and rescuing adoptable cats from those colonies as well as at risk cat rescues since 2017.

Somebody adopt this snuggly kitten.
Hi! I’m Nova! I’m a sweet girl who loves to play with toys and chase my brothers and sisters around. I love cuddles and will purr loudly for you.
I’m available for adoption by appointment at our Vallejo and El Cerrito adoption events!
All cats and kittens who are adopted out through Community Cat Advocates have been tested, vaccinated to age appropriate levels, microchipped and spayed or neutered. We are a foster based rescue and all cats and kittens live in someone’s house when not at adoption events. Please email [email protected] if you have any questions or would like an adoption application. You can also find our adoption application on our website www.communitycatadvocates.org

Did you know that “no-kill” shelters still euthanize kittens? How is that possible? Because no-kill is a concept, not a directive.
No-kill shelters strive to not euthanize adoptable pets for space. Who is not adoptable? Kittens and puppies too small to spay and neuter, sick animals, unsocialized animals, injured animals… the list goes on.
If the kittens and puppies were never born then they cannot end up in the shelter, they cannot be euthanized or run over by a car or killed by a predator.
The way to save them all is to spay and neuter every cat and dog in your universe.
Please help us get our kitties adopted by liking and sharing this post. We have so many sweet cats and kittens in our foster homes waiting to find their forever families. This is just the cats and kittens that went to our Vallejo Petsmart adoption event today. We have a whole group of other kitties at our El Cerrito Petco adoption event today too and a lot of our adults only come when they have approved adopters waiting to meet them.

Please help!
We are in urgent need of foster homes right meow.
Between Kittens dumped in public stores, sick kittens needing rescue at Feral colonies, adult cats being turned out of their homes and left to fend for themselves on the streets we are beyond capacity and unable to assist any more cats until we find additional foster placements. Please help save them all.
Foster kitties are kept separate from personal cats. We have cages to loan you.
You don’t have space? It doesn’t take much space. You don’t think that living in a cage is any sort of life for a cat. It’s not ideal, but it is temporary. And it’s better than being dead. You aren’t sure you can let a foster kitten go when it’s time. We will get you some Kleenex and hold your hand. It will be OK. Because the cat will be alive instead of dead.
Fostering saves lives. Fostering is temporary. If you don’t think that you have time for foster kittens, we have adults who need a temporary placement.
With more than 300 cats in care we can find somebody who will fit your circumstances. Because every time we find a foster placement for a cat we can save another cat. And our goal is to save them all. Please help, please foster. We’ve got to get these precious babies off the street and into safety.
To all those veterinary technicians out there who have a vet that they take care of. Happy vet tech week!
We have lots of lovely cats and kittens looking for their forever homes at our adoption events. Every one of these babies attend adoption events at the Vallejo Petsmart the second and fourth Saturday of the month trying to find their forever homes. More cats and kittens can be seen at the El Cerrito Petco each Saturday and Sunday 12-4.
