NE El Paso Rotary Club

Our Speaker for Friday, November 18 will be Blake Barrow with Rescue Mission.

Our Speaker Friday, November 11 was Rick LoBello with the El Paso Zoo. Rick is also a Rotarian and he mainly spoke about a project he is involved in to preserve wildlife at a National Park. We also gave our Thanksgiving Donation checks to Sun Valley Baptist and Open Gate Churches. The churches put together Thanksgiving baskets / boxes for needy families on the Northeast.

Our Speaker Friday, November 4 was Ryan Lympus with Destination El Paso. He shared with us about all the upcoming events they have.

Our Car Raffle was held Thursday, October 27 at Sunland Park Racetrack. A group called "Six Partners" won the car, which included our very own Sherman Barnett (in center of photo). I don't have names of the others, and one of the six was not present for photo. The car this year was a 2016 Jeep Wrangler. CONGRATULATIONS!!

On Friday, October 28 our speaker was Cynthia Chacon with El Paso Diabetes Association. She provided much needed info and gave out blood test meters to all who wanted one. to our members who missed the meeting, I have extras in our cabinet.

Our Speaker Friday, October 21 was Victor Nevarez, CEO, El Pasoan's Fighting Hunger Food Bank. We also installed our newest member, Liz with VA.
