I love the idea of experiencing growth. Consistently! For example, when I reflect on the tasks I have accomplished or completed in the last 7 years, I can’t help but notice that those undertakings, both in my personal and professional life, haven’t always been the easiest. Some overwhelmed me to the point of frustration. I would ask myself, “Why?” But I did them anyway because they pushed me out of my comfort zone. I was on a mission, big and small. I’ll let you in on a little secret- If I remain in the same routine for too long, I become bored and restless. I remedy that by constantly keeping myself busy with new projects. It is so important for me and my mental health to constantly find new ways to challenge myself, to keep my mind busy. I guess you can say that my brain is wired differently. Change and growth, for me, is what makes life interesting. They work hand in hand. Same is boring. I need to spice it up! Shake things up! People of the world, spice up your life!
