As we celebrate pride month, let us also celebrate and remember those that came before us. Those that have fought to make this world a better place, those whose very existence make a political statement by simply living in their truth, and to those taken too soon for simply being themselves. Though gone they are not forgotten, today we share a look back to our dance #Pulse in remembrance of the lives lost during the Pulse Nightclub Shooting. One of the largest mass shootings in our nation’s history, yet some public reception to the news was negatively skewed by the connection to the LGBTQIA+ community. Regardless of orientation or identity, those lost were humans, sons, daughters, mothers, friends. Taken too soon but forever in our hearts, rest in power!
