22 members of our 7-12 grade wrestlers attended Augsburg Team Camp, where they received instruction from notable wrestling coaches and former wrestlers including Patrick McKee, Gavin Hilyar, Sam Stuhl, Jordan Crass, and Victor Glivia. In addition to their wrestling activities, the team also participated in team-building exercises such as playing team handball and won the spikeball championship. The team also attended a Twins game and watched as Augsburg was honored for their back-to-back NCAA Division 3 titles, with Gavin taking part in the ceremony. Although the team competed in 10 duals and went 6-4, their primary focus was on self-improvement, always seeking to compete against top opponents. ,SOMEARENOT

Few pictures so far from Auggie team camp this week! We have 22 wrestlers spending the week learning from some of the best in the state and the country!

Brayden Hilyar and Lars Nelson represented Elk River wrestling in the the Augsburg team camp spikeball tournament and won the whole thing this evening! The team is getting lots of wrestling, technique, spikeball, and food down here. We will wrestle two duals tomorrow morning before we head down to the twins game as a camp tomorrow evening! Go Elks!

The camp will be held at Augsburg University from June 16th to June 20th. Please reach out to Coach Nelson or Coach Whirley for any queries or assistance with registration. This camp is an excellent opportunity for all wrestlers entering grades 7-12 to enhance their skills and build team chemistry.
