It was a perfect summer night for these family photos😍

In case you missed it over on Instagram, I'm back! And it wouldn't be a comeback unless I started back up with taking photos of the Youngs 😍

The first wedding of the year was an absolute dream!

Ashlee & Connor chose their 7 year dating anniversary for their wedding date, and I don't think there's anything sweeter than that! They also stuck it out in the rain for some of the most beautiful portraits.

It's been a while since I've posted, but I'm still kickin'!

I had been saving this date in my busy schedule for our Fall Content Day for a while now. My lovely friend Harper Lee Photography pulled together the cutest fall shoot for us to participate in, and the results are SO ADORABLE!

✨life update!

I may be smiling in this photo (taken by the lovely ) but I’m actually kind of bummed today.

My semester starts today, and my Wednesday’s will be spent in classrooms from now until December. Two days a week I’ll be in clinical, some days an hour away. Two other days, I’ll be at work in the ICU for 12+ hour shifts. If that sounds like a lot, it is! And you may be wondering, “how the heck is she going to continue photography?” Well, I’m asking myself the same thing.

I love this little side gig turned *almost* a full blown business so much, I can’t give it up, but I do ask for your patience right now. I’ll be taking a short break for September and October, only shooting the most special of moments. Then, I’ll reassess what my schedule is looking like. If we’ve already talked about booking, you’re still on my list. I do plan to do some minis, so stay tuned for that! Luckily, I’ve been so busy shooting I’ll have no shortage of daily insta posts 😉

As always, THANK YOU ALL. SO DAMN MUCH. This summer has been mindblowing and I’m constantly in awe of the demand for my photos and the compliments I receive. From the bottom of my heart, thank you 🤍

My plate is really full right now. I work part time as an ICU nurse taking care of mostly COVID patients for the last year. Grad school is quite frankly kicking my ass, I spend all of what little free time I have reading a pharmacology textbook. I have clinical twice a week almost an hour away. I’m still suffering from tremendous grief after the unexpected loss of our puppy. But with this session, I had fun. Shooting is one of the things that brings me joy.

So, I just want to say thank you to all of you that continue to choose me. Thank you for allowing me to continue this dream of mine and forget the real world and into your world.
