Four weeks into the season and coming to life! 💚
First-time gardeners are our favorites! 💚
Due to unanticipated circumstances, we have one of our large garden beds open! It is 8’x4’. Interested? Please email [email protected] for additional details.
We love watching the garden grow. Watching people who have never planted a garden learn to do so. Watching little seeds turn into delicious things. So much love! 💚
It’s so exciting to see garden beds coming to life in the spring! 💚
Have you tried any of these to start new plants?
Our driplines have been turned on for the season. We water the gardens twice a day. If you have questions about the schedule, please let us know.
We are excited to open for the gardening season! If you are still looking for a place to grow Delicious things and flowers, we invite you to join us. We have a couple beds available!
We are ready for our new growing season. Thank you to all who came out today and helped. Amazingly, in God’s good style, the rain turned off as we started our work and it turned back on after we finished. 💚
Reminder: rain or shine, we are doing our garden work day today. Forecast is for the light rain this morning to dissipate by our 10 AM start time.
As you can see in this picture, we have plenty of weeds in front of the garden and up in the gravel that we want to deal with, and we’re hoping to repair some of our water driplines.
Please join us!
Join us this Saturday, April 27, at 10 AM for a Garden workday in preparation for the start of season. We have some weeding to do, fixing some drip lines, and just general garden maintenance. Many hands make light work! Hope to see you there!
I spy a volunteer applying compost to the beds. 💚 Thank you, Dennis!
We are gearing up for our 2024 growing season. If you'd like to be part of our garden this year, you can find applications for our two garden bed sizes (along with other info) on our website: https://www.agapecommunitygarden.com/
This is what we desire for people participating in our garden. If you have an opportunity to grow a little extra and share it with us in need, please do.
Thinking of planting a garden? Grow an extra row! We love fresh produce and happily take donations of home-grown-garden-goodness!
We also accept donations of extra seeds to give out to our foodbank clients who have room to grow their own!
Cool idea!
A simple corner storage solution utilizing repurposed pallets.
Our garden beds are a bit smaller than such an amazing garden would allow, but it gives you something to think about.
