Meet AJ, Generations sound tech!

AJ is a student at UO studying music production and contemporary music, in addition to being a piano and flute player. She works in the school of music as a sound technician and recording artist, and we are so grateful to have her help running sound at Generations gigs. Thanks AJ!

What a way to make an entrance! Thank you for taking us on your ribbon cutting tour through Springfield, Albany, and Corvallis. We had a blast!

Throwback to the anniversary celebration .bend. There were so many things to celebrate that day from the restaurant’s success, to the restaurant founder’s birthday, to Generations first big show of the year! Congrats everybody.

I love this photo from our wedding rehearsal dinner for a couple of reasons.

1. The atmosphere was amazing. All of our guests were loving the music and it was the perfect vibe.
2. We got to enjoy the excellent music making of our friends (shoutout , , and )
3. This photo is by our friend, and true professional, photographer . I love his work and he has an amazing eye for shooting musicians.
4. Our wedding was full of music, and I am truly grateful that we were able to share the whole event with our family, friends, and guests.
5. Wedding vendors are so important and it made an incredible event to have live music and photography at our rehearsal dinner!

Hi there! 🌟

My name is Claire and this is my amazing husband Alan. We have been are co-founders, owners, and performers in Generations Wedding and Event Bands for about the last two years, but we have been in music much, much longer!

We are both classically trained brass players (I am a French hornist and Alan is a trombonist), and we met in the first weeks of our masters degree at the Mannes School of Music in New York City. We love playing together, and now we love running a business together.

Starting and running Generations has been an incredible journey. Not only do we want to create a higher standard for live music booking, but we also want to create a robust and vibrant community in which musicians can work.

Our vision to create a one stop shop for top quality live music booking, offering everything from solo jazz piano to the full 10-piece cover band. Any event or any occasion, we want to add live music.

We absolutely loved bringing solo jazz piano to the Willamalane Holiday Market last weekend. 🎄Great way to kick off the holiday season! 🥳
