🚨MAJOR UPDATE🚨

Our demand for haircuts is through the roof and we can’t thank you enough for your continuous support!!!

As demand increases, its becoming more difficult to respond to individual messages to reschedule, fix, or book an appointment. We’ve changed our phone number on our platforms to a TEXT ONLY number that automatically sends you a link for booking online through Vagaro.

Once you have the Vagaro App set up, you will have access to book online, see all future appointments you may have in your file, and have the option to reschedule/cancel your appointments! (As long as it’s 2 days prior or more to the appointment)

Our 8048 phone number for the salon will still be active and available for same day cancellations/reschedules, troubleshooting (if you’re having problems with the app) and any other inquiries that cannot be done within Vagaros App.

🚨Starting May 30th, the ONLY way to have an appointment is through the Vagaro App, or rebooking in store! 🚨

We’re working towards trying to expand and implementing this change will allow us to spend our time to focus on the ever growing list of things to prepare for this future expansion and also allow you to have more control and faster booking access 😁

Celebrating Memorial Day means to honor and remember those who fought for our country to keep us the land of the free and home of the brave.
With the families permission we would love all of you to join us in honoring and remembering a very special person for us at The Den Styles for Men.

🇺🇸James Wilfred Perry 🇺🇸

James Perry is more than just another customer to us. James loved sharing his stories of his experience in the Air Force, born on July 9th, 1938, in Lynn, Massachusetts

James lived in the DFW area for the last 12 years. He served his community by helping military veterans in the Vietnam Veterans Association, Disabled American Veterans, and the American Legion.

He was awarded several medals during his career, including the Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award w/Valor, Air Force Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, and earned the Meritorious Service Medal two times. James served as a Civil Servant to the Air Force for over 15 years and was awarded the Outstanding Civilian Career Service Award. James also volunteered countless hours for various military, youth, and church organizations. His favorite time was spent with family.

In 1962, James met the woman of his dreams at a USO dance in Washington, D.C. James and Valerie Ann Peachey were married on February 8th, 1964, at Bolling Air Force Base. During their 57 years of marriage, James and Valerie were blessed to have a daughter, a son, two daughters in-law, three grandchildren and one great grandson. James was a proud patriot of this country and served 28 years in the Air Force. James Wilfred Perry was called home by God on July 15th, 2023.

We will always miss James and his stories and witty jokes. He will always have a special place in our hearts and are so honored to have been his hairstylist for so many years. We love and miss you so much James! Thank you for everything! 💕

Something that always resonates with me on Easter is how it is a perfect depiction of the famous quote,
“It doesn’t matter how many times you fall, what truly matters is how many times you choose to stand up again.” So no matter how you decide to spend your day, let this quote encourage you to keep knocking on those doors and to keep persevering because one day you WILL make it❤️

MENS MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS TOO!
What a powerful statement, still so many men struggle with their mental health on a daily basis yet we rarely see awareness directed towards it specifically.

Did you know that men are less likely to reach out, seek help, and receive treatment than women? Even when they need it or could benefit exponentially from it.

Here are a few key things we want to emphasize today:
1. It is okay to not be okay. We often hear this but we don’t fully process the implications. You do not have to wear that mask of being “okay”, you have permission to fully show up as you are.
2. Opening up about your feelings and what you’re going through with a friend does not make you “less of a man” or make you “weak”. It actually does the opposite by shining light on your strength and courage.
3. Your worth is not defined by your mental health. You are not your battles.

We hope everyone has a safe and fun St. Patrick’s Day! ☘️
