Please plan ahead!!!! Not only will we be closed on Monday, December 26th in observance of the Christmas holiday, but we also have the potential for severe winter weather Thursday evening and Friday.
If the ice and snow storm hit the tri-state area as predicted Thursday evening, there is a good possibility that Hook's Apothecary will not be open Friday, December 23rd. Also depending on the timing of the storm, we may close early on Thursday, December 22nd.
If you will be needing a refill on your medication around this time, please call or text us as soon as possible to make sure we can fulfill your order and you can pick it up before the weather hits. Thank you for you patience and understanding.

Hook's Apothecary Update 04.08.2020
Quick update on operations here at Hook's Apothecary
** TRANSCRIPT **
- We are still here! Lobby is still closed.
- We are currently offering the following:
o Free curbside pick-up – CC info
o Free local delivery
o ½ price rates for USPS Priority Mail and FedEx Shipping
- If you need an over-the-counter item we carry from Pure Encapsulations, Ortho Molecular, Metagenics, Florajen, or our Full Spectrum Hemp products from Ananda Professional – just let one of our staff members know and we can add it to your order.
- We have a couple of exciting projects we are working on:
o As of today, we still have a limited supply of hand sanitizer. We are working to get additional supplies to continue production of this, but both IPA and bottles to put the hand sanitizer in are becoming hard to come by
o Also, as of today, we are a drop off point for hand made face masks. If you are interested in making and donating masks, we will put a link to the group we are working with in the comments below this video.
o We are also working on updates to our website and hope to launch our online store for our OTC products soon. As soon as this goes live, we will make sure to let you know.
- Given everything that is going on with the economy we are starting the following: Effective immediately and going until at least the end of the month, all OTC products will be 25% off. This includes every non-prescription item we currently carry and, on a case by case basis, special order items you might be looking for.
- Additionally, we are modifying our Hormone Replacement Program with Hormone Specialist Lisa Taylor. If you have ever been interested in compounded, customized hormone replacement – we are now waving our consultation fee (a $90 value) until at least the end of the month. More information about the program can be found on our website under the Patients tab – and of course, if you have any questions about the program, please contact us for additional information.
- Lastly,

But given that we are a small business with only 8 employees, we need to make sure we take every precaution necessary to prevent us from the COVID-19 virus. In light of the lobby closure, we are offering the following: FREE curbside service – if you would like to pick up your purchase here, please let the staff know. At this time, curbside service is limited to ONLY credit card and check transactions. If you absolutely need to pay by cash, please let us know ahead of time. Also – if you would like to utilize this service, please call us ahead of time to provide your payment information. We are also offering FREE local delivery. This includes Vanderburgh County, West Warrick County (no farther east than Newburgh and Chandler], and South Gibson County (no farther north than Ft. Branch). If you are on the outskirts of this area, free local delivery will be considered on a case by case basis. In addition, we are offering reduced USPS Priority Mail delivery. Effectively immediately, ALL patients, new and established, who want USPS Priority Mail Delivery can choose to do so. The charge for this service is $4. If your prescription requires refrigeration or freezing and you would like it shipped, we will be handling these on a case-by-case basis. Our normal FedEx overnight charge is $17.
