R&R Family Farm and Animal Sanctuary

A little over $3000 !!! That's what we made this weekend! My heart is so full....meeting new friends, friends becoming like family and getting to see my faithful loyal shoppers...I have so many thank yous but none bigger than the one I owe to the person who made it happen...I resigned myself to not being able to pull it off...then came Casey....my best friend for over 50 years...she told me she would help me make it happen. When I told her what all was involved, with zero hesitation, it began! When I was nervous about having enough items to sell, I put out a call, and you all answered! When I was afraid I didn't have enough help, my friends all had my back!! This was our biggest and most successful rummage sale yet...not to mention the absolute most enjoyable! This money is so needed as my hay is down to the last dozen bales and vaccinations are around the corner! All is boxed up and ready to be picked up by a new thrift shop! I just finished tucking in my babies and before I settled down I wanted to post a million thanks to all! YOU all make me realize why I do what I do! ❤️. 4th Annual Rummage Sale is done! That's a wrap!

So many thanks and so much love to my tribe for rallying today for hoof trims with the most magical Adventures with Emily the Trimmer !!!! It went so smoothly and we ALL learned so many fun things! When it goes smoothly like today, this mama heart is happy!!!

What a pretty sight to see! Lenny tried to smooth it out yesterday but that crazy rain made it miserable....so today after work it was!

Trying to catch up on life...but paused for family time to take in our incredible view....and no traffic!!!

So grateful for beautiful weather! Getting things done! So happy to see happy napping pigs ❤️ Buns got a new hut and I got to actually see her in it! The little things take so much time, but having this week off has been great! Catching up on work work and farm work....planning on an entirely lazy Sunday if I get all caught up!!

Ok...fresh straw, extra yummy dinner...all set and cozy... ready for the storm coming...

Good grief.. its been a rough few weeks and as I feel my meltdown building, I realize it was January of last year when I had my embarrassing social media meltdown! There's something about January that is just the worst! A month that feels like it is 97 days long! There are days when I swear I can't run the sanctuary anymore and then there are days when I swear I can't teach my students anymore....then as my meltdown was on the the downslope...I realized that there was no way that I could do one and not the other! Each offers solace from the other. Now that I door dashed a delicious dinner, finished all chores in time to catch the second half of the niner game, I breathe deep and remain grateful for all that I do have, hiccups and all....please January just wrap it up already! Since I struggle to post pics, here are some good ones...❤️❤️❤️

It has been a whirlwind week! Christmas came early here as my amazing friend at Zinger Ranch Farm Sanctuary delivered my presents! Another critter crossed off of my wishlist! Please welcome my new babies....struggling still for names!!!!

SO grateful for such amazing people jumping in head first to help with 9 successful pig ( Chunky Butt was a no-go, too stressed and hurt himself) and 2 goat pedis done!! Frankenswine even got his first tusk trim! Such a great team and it went so smooth! Cassie. Way to get it done today! You're AMAZING!!! The pigs were all so good, made this mama so proud! A million thanks Olivia, Sonia, Susanne, Alyssa, Haley and friends!!! You are all my heroes and I am so so grateful!!!! Royal Touch Trimming ❤️
