we’ll be shaking (or stirring) 3 delicious non-alcoholic cocktails made with spirit alternatives and fresh ingredients.

Each mocktail will have a touch of “holiday spirit” but not “alcohol spirit”.

☀️ VISION FOR THE NEW OUTDOOR SPACE

I’m just playing around today trying to create my vision of what the new outdoor space will be.

Chasing away the dirt with gravel is always a good idea.

We’ve installed a new gate through the passion fruit covered fence so guests will be able to enter from the barndo patio.

A bench will be placed to take in the peaceful view.

I’m hoping a hot tub will also get installed so guests can soak up the country views and night stars.

The deck and pavilion turned out so fabulous. I can’t wait to get the decor going.

🧘‍♀️ Talks of yoga retreats are in the works.

🌻Wouldn’t a boho picnic under the pavilion be wonderful?

I was so honored to have Irene and her family gather for Thanksgiving in our barndo. She and D’Jean were our very first guests to stay in the barndo when we opened last year. Having her back was such a thrill and bringing her family was an extra honor.

📢 ITS NOVEMBER!!! A NEW MONTH AND A NEW ANNOUNCEMENT.

Over the last 21 months since the launch of Foal House Fallbrook you have seen me post many delicious farm fresh cocktails and simple syrups made from things that grow on the farm. This has been so much fun to explore, experiment and taste. So I’m moving those cocktails/mocktails over to their own page.

🌅 AS THE SUNSETS ITS COCKTAIL HOUR.
Please join me as I share healthy, simple cocktails/mocktails made with in season, locally grown ( many on my farm) fruits and herbs.

🍹 I left Los Angeles 4 years ago and moved to the country in San Diego county. My world expanded into all new adventures as I learned about what grows, how to grow, and what to heck to do with it. I’ve visited some amazing farms and met many dedicated farmers that bring farm to table freshness. Since the move I’ve discovered all kinds of unusual and exotic fruits, vegetables and herbs. I’ve tried my hand at gardening with some wins and lots of fails. I seem to do best with herbs. The critters don’t like them much. I’m just an accidental farmer and have no idea what I’m doing but it’s all a learning process.

🍹As the seasons change, so does the fruit on my farm. That means seasonal drinks, homemade simple syrups all fresher than any pre flavored spirit or mix you can buy. Once you go fresh, you never go back.

🍹On my farm I have…
Pomegranates, passion fruit, dragonfruit, plums, peaches 🍑 , navel oranges 🍊, blood oranges, mandarin oranges, oh and over 100 avocado 🥑 trees!
🌿 Rosemary, lavender, sage, sweet basil, purple basil, African blue basil, oregano, dill, and assorted mints. The mix changes with the seasons and what decides to grow for me.
