Love like dad.

I have always thought having a heart for others is one of the most important things I can do with my time here on earth. Treat people well, go out of your way to help, be a good friend and show up when needed. That's what my dad did. He didn't spend his life telling me how important it was to have a good heart, he showed me. His heart is perhaps my most favorite thing about him and is most definitely the part of him that I am most proud of. He spent his life being unapologetically himself and by doing so, built a legacy of love that has lived on years after his passing.

Happy fathers day, dad. There will never be anyone that compares. ❤

I had to share a couple pictures of my nephew before I am off for the Easter weekend! I hope you all have a great weekend with family!

I am in the process of switching my name over to Missy Dale Photography instead of Melissa Dale Photography. When I first named my business, I picked Melissa because it is my legal name and sounded more professional but to be honest, the only person I am used to calling me that is my mom. I have always been Missy to those that know me and this is just one more way to be authentic to who I am.

It's going to be a process so hang in there with me!

Allisyn is my beautiful niece but she feels more like a daughter/best friend. It makes me so happy that she found someone that makes her laugh like Lucas does. So glad I was able to sneak some quick fall photos of them, just for fun.
