It was awesome turning in my finished desk to the Hawks Nest for next Friday’s Blank Skate Project fundraising event at Fargo Brewing Company! I had a blast working on it and I hope to see everyone next Friday!

Happy St Patrick’s Day! I’m here at West Acres Mall representing Gallery4 as today’s Artist in Residence. I’ll be working on weird art until 5, so swing in and check out the exhibit, watch me work, and visit/ask questions! I love company!

Gallery4 has officially become the Artist(s) in Residence at West Acres Mall here in Fargo! Come by and see the selected works by our team, PLUS the represented artists will take turns over the next month+ doing LIVE DEMOS! Stop by and watch the artist of the day creating their art in their chosen mediums! It’s so cool!

I’ve got a brand new piece on display that I created while painting live at the North Dakota Museum of Art last month. It’s my tribute to Maurice Sendak (author and artist of Where the Wild Things Are). I’ll be at West Acres this Sunday working on a couple of new pieces so stop in and ask me about it!

This coming Thursday, Feb 8th, I’ve been invited to lend a hand/brush to the Giving Hearts Day in Grand Forks…and I’m super excited! The North Dakota Museum of Art will be raising money to help fund their upcoming exhibit “Maurice Sendak - 50 Years”. I’ve loved “Where the Wild Things Are” since I was a kid. I will be painting LIVE at the North Dakota Museum of Art all day on Feb 8th! I love painting weird stuff so I will be embracing the fun, Wild Things spirit and creating some monster-vibe pieces. Come by and visit on Thursday if you’re in the area!

Watching Drink Masters on Netflix inspired me to make this Aquavit old fashioned. I’m calling it the Retired Berserker.
