Next varieties up in the peach orchards are Glenglo and Pf-7!! First picks start Friday 8/2 at 8am! Don’t delay, they look pretty nice and may not last long;).

Top order stuff in the Pick Your Own Blueberries right now. It will be a great weekend of picking.
We do expect lite conditions for peach picking this weekend as we are finishing up the Desiree and Harrow Diamond varieties, show up early Saturday for the weekend’s best peaches. The next varieties should be ready for first picks this coming week!
will be open all weekend. Hard cider served up by the sample, glass, or take some home in a growler. Don’t miss your opportunity to grab one of three different blends of our Cellar Series of ciders. A more traditionally made series with no added sugar or preservatives, lightly carbonated and bottled for easy storage and transport to that special occasion.

After many requests, we’ve reconsidered and are gonna go ahead and have pick your own blueberries open during Friday night’s (July 12th) Cider House event from 4pm-8pm! Why limit the night’s fun to food trucks, great music, and hard cider?

The pick your own blueberry crop look great and the fields are filling in with blue, it should be a great night for some twilight blueberry picking!

Normal hours are 8am-4pm daily, closed Mondays, except for Friday the 12th.

Balaton sour cherry (pictured) and two dark sweet cherry varieties begin their harvest Thursday July 11th. Blueberries and raspberries are also in season!
The farm is open 8am-4pm daily, closed Mondays.

Special event: Friday July 12th from 4pm-8pm is the first ever Cider House after hours.

Availability of Individual fruit types can come and go quickly, don’t let the ones you want pass by;)!
Sour cherries: Montmorency begin Tuesday, Balaton begin Thursday
Sweet cherries: White Gold continue on Tuesday, Regina and Lapins start Thursday. Cherry harvest will be done by Sunday and they may not be available every day… call first.
Raspberries- still great picking this week, should be available all day everyday🤞blueberries- just getting started and the picking should be excellent all week. Strawberries - last call, they end on Thursday.

Pick your own Cherry season is here! A mixture of mostly sweet cherry varieties with some sour varieties blended in! Availability can fluctuate tremendously from day to day so if you are targeting a certain type be sure to call the info line 603-335-4705 for the last word on daily pickings. The harvest should last 2+ weeks, don’t miss it;).
This week will also have last call on strawberry picking, great berries still coming out of the patches and the raspberries are in mid season form, tons of them for picking too!

There is a big berry week lined up ahead of us!
Strawberries are only half way through their four week picking window - plenty of great berries yet to be picked and there is still a volume pricing incentive in play!
Raspberries are just beginning and there is a whopper of a crop - expect them to be available for three-ish weeks.
Cherries are most likely a first week of July opening! Stay tuned!!

Heat wave pricing in effect through the end of Thursday 6/20! Hit the 10lb mark (one rounded 6qt tray) and ALL your berries go across the scale at $3.99/lb. Normal pricing is 4.79/lb.

Need quantity for jam, freezing, juicing, etc? It’s a good time to come get-um and with all the predicted heat, the berries will be ripening fast making for easy/quick picking.

Gates open at 7am daily and the patches close at 3pm, maybe show up early to beat the heat? Please be mindful if you plan to show up during the afternoon hours, it will be hot in the patches, bring Gatorade and a big hat;)! Cold drinks are available in the farmstand.

Our strawberry fields are open and the picking conditions are filling in nicely for the holiday weekend! Have you checked the weather forecast? It’s 🎯! Grab dad and the rest of your people and plan a strawberry party!

Things to remember:

- best picking is always earlier in the day!

- although we doubt “Closing For Ripening” will be necessary over the next 3 days, it sometimes does happen. It is always a good idea to call the picking info line before your trip, just to double check;)! (603-335-4705)

- our new farm entrance is working great, let’s try and keep it to one way traffic flow, follow the signs to the alternate driveway for exit!

- the is open any time the farm is! Hard cider is served up by the glass, by the sampler flight, or get a growler filled for take home.

Our first pick your own crop of the season begins it’s harvest Tuesday June 11th. Strawberry picking typically lasts for about 4 weeks, so don’t miss em;)!

This week’s forecast looks perfect and our patches should really be hitting their stride by this coming holiday weekend!

June hours: 7am - 3pm daily, closed Mondays. Please keep in mind, Ripe fruit availability may impact hours, especially during the first 2 days of strawberry harvest! You can always call the picking info line which is updated multiple times per day anticipating changes in conditions.

Not enough ripe strawberries to open for picking just yet! But the will be serving up Paloma punch (grapefruit with Citra and Cascade hops) and four other on draft ciders for sampler flights, by the glass or growler fills for take home.

We found it last night, this season’s first flower in the strawberry patch!

The countdown is now live, expect pick your own to begin here at Butternut Farm in about 30 days!

Strawberries are first up for us, followed by raspberries and cherries in July, blueberries and peaches are mostly August crops and of course apples and pumpkins round out the harvest in the fall! All the crops look promising so far and we can’t wait to see you all again:)!
