Holocaust Survivor Day
This year's Holocaust Survivor Day was an incredible success! Our thanks go to everyone involved in the planning process, and to those who made this wonderful day possible. The Communal Emotion
For Yom Hashoah this year, we received outstanding projects from students at Avon High School. Earlier this year, these students met with local survivor Leon Chameides and produced projects inspired by their interaction with him. We are so proud of what these students achieved and are delighted to begin highlighting their work in the coming weeks. Thank you to Stu and Colin for organizing these projects and guiding students through their very insightful and poignant reflections. #WeRemember #NeverForget #HolocaustandGenocideEducation #CTVoicesofHope #TheHEROCenter #AskWhy #Remember #Hope

Join us for our first virtual Reading of the Names. Thank you to all of our readers!

Live Q&A with HERO Center Director

It's time for a little Speak Up Storytelling! Each year, Voices of Hope works with this incredible team to help the next generations of storytellers stand up and speak up about their experience, that of their family's and tell it to world. This clip features Alan Berkowitz, who participated in our last showcase in 2019. Thank you, Nild Sansone, for filming and for sharing our stories! #CTVoicesofHope #TheHEROCENTER #GenocideAwarenessMonth #AskWhy #HolocaustandGenocideEducation #NeverForget #StrongerThanHate #SpeakUp #WeRemember
