Regardless of how your baby is fed, when there is a tongue tie and treatment is necessary, the procedure can yield improvements. Treating tongue ties is not just for the breastfed baby!

When we first began our tongue tie clinic, we had no idea that years later we would be doing a deep dive into all things beyond “just” releasing the tongue and/or lip. Because let’s be honest, it’s never “just” the tongue or lip, is it? It’s craniofacial development, orthodontic development, airway development, sleep quality, quality of life, and SO. MUCH. MORE!
That being said, it seemed only natural that Dr. Molly Guy would progress and shift toward sleep medicine.
For the last year, there have been many many hours of studying, aha moments, and late nights preparing for her next step. It is with great pride that we share with you that Dr. Molly Guy is now a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine!!! There was no doubt in our hearts or minds that she’d pass her boards, but man, they sure do make you sweat it out with a couple months of waiting 😅

Of course we understand the importance of frenectomies around here, but sometimes we have families who have been told otherwise. Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country. We are thankful to all of our hardworking staff for their dedication to serving our patients everyday!
