Up in the sky, it's a bird, it's a plane......... no, it's your everyday superhero lunchlady!! Today is School Lunch Hero Day and everywhere all across the nation schools and districts are celebrating their hard working cafeteria crews. We cannot say enough good things about these ladies, they have truly been the backbone to the nutrition department this year! Make sure you reach out to your cafeterias and let them know how much they are appreciated.

Everyone knows it's strawberry season!! FCS Nutrition once again brought in some local foods. These fresh strawberries came straight from Dennison's Farm. Adding some whipped topping to them just made the best fruit cup ever!!
It's almost here, our favorite day of the year.
Attention Ralph Askins parents and students!! Due to some equipment issues, we will have to change tomorrow, Thursday's menu. We will be having the salisbury steak w/gravy with cornbread, mashed potatoes and green beans.
We apologize for the inconvenience and are hopeful that the new equipment will be delivered soon. Friday's menu will remain the same, corn dog.
❗️❗️ Please note, due to early dismissal and our priority being students and staff safety, lunch menu may differ from original menu based on time for cooking and serving. Each school serves at different times and at different student capacity, therefore today FCS Nutrition will do what is needed to make sure each Tiger is able to get lunch as quickly as possible.
FMS staff is absolutely correct!! "Ear-resistible" school lunch meals 😂
We better....HOP to it😏
Nothing like a giant warm roll to go with your Tyson chicken drumstick. When we say these rolls were huge...they were huge!! Yes,we realize we should have taken a picture of the whole food tray, but that's what happens when you're distracted by having a state audit.
Today each student was able to get a mini Cat and the Hat treat as they received their lunch tray of Green Eggs and Ham.
What a spectacular way to end Read Across America week in honor of Dr Seuss.
I do like green eggs and ham.... I do like them Sam I am.
