Did you know that, according to the National Assessment of Educational Progress, only 37% of fourth graders are considered proficient in reading? Another study found that only 29% of children read for fun every day. Children who read for fun do better in school and have better mental health.

Kinley believes that most of these kids do not read for fun because they have not found the right book!

Because of this, she is using her platform as Tiny Miss Gray’s Creek to start Kinley’s Reading Club!

Please consider donating any new or gently used children’s books to Kinley’s Reading Club! Donations will go directly to the Falcon Children’s Home, with the hopes of encouraging more kids to pick up a book and discover a love of reading!

Collection will take place until February 28. Kinley will personally deliver the books during Read Across America Week, March 2-6.
