Greetings to all our customers.

Today is a sad day as I announce after 20 years of operating our Proshop at Fun Bowl of Henry County, the store will be closing permanently on April 27th, 2024.
The owners of the bowling center will be remodeling and there will no longer be room for our store.
We shall remain open at our Fayetteville location for the foreseeable future. Rodney Spencer who for over 11 years has managed our Henry County location will be transferring to our Fayetteville store.
All drilling and ball fitting records will go to Fayetteville so that we can continue to serve you, our customers.

Hi everyone

We are trying to raise some funds for a young man "Ryan Morris". He has been suffering from cancer for the last 18 months. We are going to hold a super raffle of bowling balls, accessories etc at Fun Bowl of McDonough starting on the 17th league night until the 20th April. The drawing's will take place during league night on the 20th. If anyone wishes to donate cash or other item's for the raffle please contact me at Fayetteville Pro Shop or Rodney at our McDonough shop. We are being helped by Bowl Expo pro shop (David Checkle), Storm bowling and Motiv bowling with donations.

USBC AND STORM PRODUCTS ANNOUNCE AGREEMENT OF NATIONAL TOURNAMENT EXCLUSION AND BALL EXCHANGE PROGRAM

ARLINGTON, Texas - The United States Bowling Congress and Storm Products have agreed on a national tournament exclusion rule and ball exchange program for six Storm Products manufactured ball models. The agreement comes after USBC identified the models having a percentage of balls produced below USBC minimum 73D hardness specification.

USBC's investigation showed a percentage of these ball models measured below the USBC-required hardness level of the approval samples submitted by Storm. Storm collaborated with USBC after being notified of this testing.

The affected models include:

Storm Phaze 4
Storm Electrify Solid
Storm Trend 2
900 Global Altered Reality
900 Global Wolverine
Roto Grip UFO Alert
Effective March 30, 2022, these balls models are prohibited from use in USBC national tournaments, including, but not limited to, the USBC Masters, U.S. Open, USBC Open Championships, USBC Women's Championships, all PWBA Tour events, USBC Junior Gold and Youth Open Championships, USBC Intercollegiate Championships, USBC Team USA Trials, USBC Senior Masters and USBC Senior Queens.

These ball models remain USBC approved. Each USBC competition, whether tournament or league, has the option to adopt USBC's national tournament rule prohibiting use of these balls or to continue to allow their use.

USBC has shared this national tournament rule with Storm and has Storm's support. Storm will offer owners of the affected balls the option to exchange their balls for a new product. Information about the exchange program will be published later this week on stormbowling.com.

"USBC thanks Storm for the collaboration and for working together on a solution for our members," USBC Executive Director Chad Murphy said. "There is no perfect solution to this type of problem, but this agreement strikes a balance in protecting the integrity of USBC national tournaments, while giving members a choice to do what is best for them locally."

As part of the agreement, Storm Products will discontinue sales of the affected balls. USBC has concluded its investigation and will not be taking action on additional balls related to this production issue.

"Storm appreciates USBC working with us on this agreement, so we can put the issue behind us and focus on our customers," Storm Products President Dave Symes said. "Customer satisfaction has always been our top priority, and we will take care of our customers."

This agreement does not change the status of the Storm Spectre. The Spectre remains unapproved and on USBC's non-conforming ball list.

With the USBC’s decision to revoke the prior approval of the Spectre bowling ball we are continuing to explore our options with their findings but understand that taking care of our customers is of the upmost importance.

We will be opening an exchange portal on Monday, March 21, 2022. This portal will allow you to exchange your Spectre bowling ball for another bowling ball from a drop-down list of seven different balls. You will be able to upload a picture of the serial number of your ball and a picture of the drilled holes in the ball.

We will ship the exchange ball directly from Storm HQ to the address of your choice within the US. This process will take 3-5 weeks. Along with the exchange ball, you will receive a drilling certificate in the box.

More information will be available to all of our customers on Monday. Thank you for your patience throughout this unprecedented situation.

Latest update from Storm on the Spectre

We were informed late Friday by the United States Bowling Congress that the Storm Spectre is under further review. We have reached out to the USBC for additional information. At this time, this ball is not available for sale in pro shops but is still legal for competition. As information becomes more available, we will release further statements.

Finally they are on the way. New 25th anniversary Hammer 3D offset and the Pink Widow Urethane. They will hit our stores this Friday 24th. UPS has scanned them out of the warehouse and are on the truck.

As you all know we are still suffering with lack of supply of bags and shoes. This is nationwide. We have been trying real hard to keep on top of this. Please be patient everyone is waiting for the ships to dock in LA.
