Among her honors are two NEA Fellowships, a Fulbright fellowship, and the Witter Bynner Translation Fellowship at the Santa Fe Art Institute. She lives in Tucson.

Among her honors are two NEA Fellowships, a MacDowell residency, and the Witter Bynner Translation Fellowship at the Santa Fe Art Institute. She lives in Tucson.
The Arkansas International is excited to present an exclusive reading from Issue 10 contributor Marcela Sulak. Translator Marcela Sulak is the author of the lyrical translator’s memoir, Mouth Full of Seeds (Black Lawrence Press, 2020). Her third poetry collection is forthcoming with Black Lawrence Press. She’s co-edited Family Resemblance: An Anthology and Exploration of 8 Hybrid Literary Genres. A 2019 NEA Translation Fellow, and a 2017 PEN Award for Poetry in Translation finalist, she’s translated five collections of poetry. Sulak is an Associate Professor of Literature at Bar-Ilan University.
Newly minted Guggenheim Fellow and Issue 10 Contributor Edward Gauvin reads his work: Writer and translator Edward Gauvin (PhD, USC) has received residencies and fellowships fromthe NEA, PEN America, the Fulbright program, Ledig House, the Lannan Foundation, the BanffCentre, and the French and Belgian governments. The translator of over 80 short stories and 350graphic novels, he has spoken on translation, French literature, and comics at universities andfestivals, and will be returning to teach at the Bread Loaf Translators’ Conference this summer.Find him at: edward-gauvin.squarespace.com.
