The end of a great week in at the Kayak Series opener. The largest tournament they've ever had (258 people 😳) had me pretty worried coming into it, but luckily I found a pattern that was a little off the beaten path that let me stay in contention for two days. Overall with the weather changes and the adjustments that I made with two days of practice I'm very happy with how it turned out!

This was my first tournament in the Autopilot 136 and I can absolutely say that it is amazing, with the sustained 25-30mph winds on day 1 being able to stay perfectly in place thanks to the spot lock was a huge help!

Also a shout out to for letting me run their 160ah lithium battery! It's a perfect fit in the box and even with running everywhere on 100% the battery still isn't even 50% discharged!!

All in an amazing tournament and congrats to for taking the W, you don't see passion like that very often and it was an honor to compete against him!

Sitting in into day 2! Lost some key fish but that means I'm in the right areas, going to go mop then up today and see if we can bring home some hardware for team ! Burned down the lake yesterday and the 160ah Battery carried me everywhere and didn't even drop below 50% all day

Had an amazing day out on the Harris Chain during day 1 of the !!! One day left and it's Florida so anything can happen. Saw a 10+ come in the boat for so I know they are there. Lucky enough to watch this 7.6 eat on the Mega Live. Chewing up 17+ miles of water a day practicing out of the Bigwater 132 paid off!!
