This week, our office was given a 1 ⭐️ review on Google because State Farm had a rate increase on a customer’s car insurance.

Insurance agents and their employees don’t set the rates.

Auto premiums are following accident frequency and severity which plummeted during the COVID lockdowns and are now up, even higher than 2018-19.

Despite the industry’s best efforts to advise consumers that the 30%+ decreases in 2020 were temporary, a lot of people forgot that part and are very angry.

I empathize. I know the price of everything is up. But torching a local business isn’t fair.

Rates are set way above our pay grade and unfortunately, the only thing that will get them down is a return to safer driving by the general population.
