What's all the BUZZZZZ at the Fenton Community & Farmers' Market, well for one, it's Ozark Honey Bee Farm! Ozark Honey Bee Farm is a family and veteran owned honey bee farm in House Springs, MO. Mike and Nina are a husband and wife team and Mike is a 2nd generation beekeeper. They produce small batch, pure, raw honey from their apiaries in Jefferson County and also sell bees in the springtime. They partner with local MO farmers to bring handpicked MO grown elderberries to the Market and also infuse their honey with local and/or organic produce. They also offer a variety of flavored creamed honey that is a delicious honey treat! But this outstanding local farmer has taken it a step further with Nina making bath and body products with honey, beeswax and quality ingredients for people to enjoy such as soaps, lotion, lip balms, deodorant, body butter, scrubs and more!

If you haven't had the chance to shop Ozark Honey Bee Farm at the Fenton Community & Farmers' Market, you're missing out! Stop in tomorrow, July 25, from 4:30-7:30pm at the Meramec Greenway Pavilion in Fenton City Park. Meet Nina, shop her AWESOME products, and all the other vendors and local farmers, you won't want to miss it!

Salsa anyone? How about some fresh homemade salsa?! Nico's Pico (Nico Patton) is made with Fresh Natural Ingredients- No Artificial Anything! Besides their current flavors of Verde, Mild, Wild, and Loco, they now have a new edition: Fuego, for those who like a slow burn and intense fiery heat. If you're looking to spice up your meal or give your guests a little extra something, look no further! As Nico would say, “our salsa will make your ordinary meal a masterpiece.”

Nico Patton (Nico's Pico) has been a part of the Fenton Community & Farmers' Market since last season and we were thrilled to welcome them back for the 2024 season. According to Nico and Penny, they've "enjoyed being at the Market every week. We’ve met so many wonderful vendors and customers!" So, if you haven't had the chance to meet this super outstanding small business, then stop on by the Fenton Community & Farmers' Market this Thursday, July 25, from 4:30-7:30pm, at the Meramec Greenway Pavilion in Fenton City Park to shop them and all the other superb vendors and farmers.

Have you ever wondered who that beautiful dog on Ruby's Sweet-Tater Crunchies package is and how the business began? Well, Shannon let me know the story behind the business 🙂Her heart dog, Ruby, was diagnosed with Cushing's disease and pancreatitis in 2020, she started selling her favorite treats locally (dehydrated sweet potatoes=Crunchies) to help with her medical care. When she passed in 2022, she had such a following of regular customers, it didn't feel right to just stop. So, she has kept on going and now donates most of the profits to local shelters and/or training programs. To date, over $7,000 has been donated!!! Ruby's Sweet-Tater Crunchies now carries 9 products but will always be Shannon's girl's legacy!❤️ It's important to Shannon that there are healthy treats for our pets so she buys local organic ingredients and spends a lot of time perfecting her recipes.

Come out this Thursday, July 25th, from 4:30-7:30pm to the Fenton Community & Farmers' Market in Fenton City Park at the Meramec Greenway Pavilion to support this amazing local business as she continues to give back to the community helping other animals! With the heat rising what's better than an ice cold treat from Dulce homemade ? This family owned business started with Puerto Rican baked goods and expanded to add their popsicle business “Dulce Pop STL” this year. Ice treats are a must when you live in a tropical climate like Puerto Rico and St. Louis summers pack in a punch with heat and humidity, so they thought their ice pops where a perfect fit to cool off during St. Louis hot days and nights. At Dulce homemade , they make their pops right here in the city, striving for real ingredients, no additives or dyes. Their goal- "We want people to feel good about eating a treat that is refreshing and healthy." At Prairie Blooms the native plants are sure loving all this rain and I'm sure it's going to make for some beautiful flowers this Thursday, July 11th at the Fenton Community & Farmers' Market! Taylor is in her first year of flower farming and is new to the Market but has thoroughly enjoyed meeting new people this season. So, continue to come out, say hi, and support this new local farmer, Prairie Blooms, plus all the other farmers, small businesses, and local vendors this Thursday, July 11th, from 4:30-7:30pm, at the Meramec Greenway Pavilion in Fenton City Park.

Our Pill Wraps were new this year. They are made with dog safe peanut butter, organic gluten free oats, sweet potato, and Vitamins C and E. All natural ingredients! These are for tough pups to trick with meds. Wrap these around the pill, and down the hatch they go. These are so much better for your pups than the other "popular brand" on the market. We will be at Fenton Community & Farmers' Market Thursday, 4:30-7:30
