❤️ What a day…what a DAY!!❤️

Today, HomeStl had its very first FREE BOOK FAIR for kids!! We showed up to Griffith Elementary School and spread the love to their students and staff.

While the staff enjoyed pizza and AMAZING ice cream by Tiffany the kids were downstairs shopping for book marks, stickers, flower seeds & books!

While the staff was 🏃🏾‍♀️chasing down Tiffany to inquire about her ice cream 🍨the kids were having discussions about which book 📚 to get.

We want to thank Carli Jae for allowing us to come in and provide a bit of the “fun stuff” to her school community!

We also owe a huge THANK YOU to every member of the Home STL community that donated to this campaign! Between all the donations that came in during COVID (when we couldn’t serve), to all the donations that came in specifically for this campaign, to the donations of books & bookmarks- we were able to provide EVERY CHILD, ALLLL 354 of them, with a FREE BOOK of their choice just because they deserved it. Our community is the absolute best because you understand the assignment EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!

Special shout out goes to priced books in U City that helped me find the remainder of the books we needed on Thursday! They had EVERYTHING!

Tiffany & I are laid out somewhere with grateful hearts!! Another successful outreach done with even more love than the last! On to the next… ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is just a reminder that today is the last day to sponsor books for our FREE BOOK FAIR for kids that’s happening THIS FRIDAY! 📚❤️🎉

We are so excited to shower these deserving 3rd -5th graders with an afternoon of FUN! To ensure that each book, sticker, etc arrives on time, today is the last day for you to pop over to that Amazon Link (in the bio) and shop with your heart!

Happy Thanksgiving!!! On behalf of Home STL, we would like to say thank you for all of your donations, monetary and physical! We were able to feed over 175 people, we provided dinner for 7 families, we passed out hats, socks and so much more to those in need. Your generosity and love gave a piece of Home to many in St. Louis! A huge thank you goes out to all of our volunteers ( street teams and Biddle House servers) & to for the food!! Your time and dedication to the community are a priceless gift!! Many hands make light work and all of you made this day as light as possible!! This is what community looks like...and we are so glad you are a part of ours. 💓

Why do we need money?

In short...everything costs! We need to purchase deodorant, socks, underwear, gloves, long johns, sanitary products, soap, toothpaste, and so much more. We do our best to coupon and make a dollar stretch as far as we can, however there are still somethings we cannot use a coupon for. Fruits, meat, and certain clothing items are still pricey to purchase. Children that can't afford a haircut still need them. Families that transition into housing still need supplies. No donation is too small...every dollar counts and will be used to uplift St. Louis! Please share so others can find out how they too can partner with us!

Welcome to Home STL!! We are so glad you stopped by. Home STL is a nonprofit that aims to spread love and joy throughout various communities of St. Louis!
