This week at the Fernandina Beach Marketplace on Amelia Island I am excited to introduce my newest terrariums. For sale will be a very large molten glass on wood. The glass is formed to fit the contours of the wood base. It’s filled with air plants, shells and even a preserved crab…very cool.
I will also be featuring terrariums in pots created by potter Paul Brickwell, a local artist here on the island. We have been working together to combine his one-of-a-kind pottery to make striking terrariums. Each pot is signed on the bottom by Paul.
The gift giving season is upon us, why not give a gift that keeps on giving? Come see us this Saturday from 9:00 to 1:00.

This Saturday at downtown Fernandina Beach is shop Small Business Day. That includes the Fernandina Market Place on 7th St. It’s a great outdoor marketplace where you can shop, meet friends and bring your dog along.

I love to repurpose unique bowls, interesting containers, barnacles, driftwood, murex shells and glassware from the past. They make great terrariums for all types of air plants, sand, and shells. Each terrarium is a one of a kind.

One of my favorite homes for air plants are in Murex shells from the Philippines. These magnificent shells are the perfect to show- off gorgeous air plants. I have very large, large, medium, small and extra small.

DIY (Do-it yourself) terrarium kits
These kits contain everything needed to make your own terrarium. They come in glass or plastic globes. Each kit come with sand, seashells, directions, one air plant, spray bottle and a picture of the finished product. They make great gifts. Sea Shore Terrariums will be open this Saturday at the Fernandina Beach Market Place on Amelia Island from 9:00 to 1:00. I hope to see you there.

This week at Fernandina Beach Farmers Market I will be featuring various size glass globe terrariums. I love working with glass globes to create a beach snapshot in time. They come in 4”,5” and 6” globes with flat bottoms and a loop to hang.

This week at the Fernandina Beach Farmers Market I will be introducing my collector series terrariums. These are very large rare air plants in various settings. The extra-large teardrop is my favorite. Please stop by and check them out…they are amazing.
