As colder temperatures are approaching, it's important to consider rebuilding your air dryer. The air dryer helps the air system purge out moisture from your lines.
The air dryer is comprised of a cartridge and a purge valve. The cartridge captures the water and over time needs replaced as it fills. The purge valve regulates air, popping at 125psi to insure the system doesn't build too much pressure. The purge valve will release some moisture from the air system when popping off. As a result, the purge valve can freeze or get stuck open or closed when colder temperatures are present.
