It was a banana bread kinda day

Starting to work on some ideas for Halloween!

Had to drop by and see my fellow GF baker and friend, Lydia with Gluten Free Creations at the Fishers Farmers Market today! If you are there, make sure you stop by and say hi! She has such an amazing selection of GF baked goods!!

Channeling my inner Swedish Chef, or should I say Swedish Baker, today! My son has a school project based on Sweden, and as a Swede myself, I got super excited to help out! I am making several different traditional Swedish baked goodies the next few days and he will be picking one to take to school for his presentation to share with his class. These particular cookies are called Havreflarn or Swedish Oatmeal Cookies. They are enjoyed during a tradition called Fika, which is coffee with a friend, but more substantial. This is a practice enjoyed daily in Sweden and is very important to them. I have already eaten 4, and may go back for another!😂

Anyone else now seriously craving some chocolate cake? I am obsessed with this 3 layered 6” inch, and the adorable cake topper they custom ordered to complete the birthday girl’s cake!

Boy oh boy is this weather feeling tropical! Anyone else feeling like an ice cold shower after about 3 minutes outside? Fun flamingos for a special birthday girl last weekend!

Good morning, friends! Starting next week, I will be taking some time off from Cooper & Lu GF Baking Co in order to spend time with my family for the remainder of the summer. Life can get pretty busy these days, and I want to make sure I get that quality time in with my kids while they still want to hang out with me😂 I plan on being back up and running around the first or second week of August, so feel free to contact me with any orders for dates starting then! Thanks so much for your loyalty the past 3 and a half years! I couldn’t feel more blessed to have such wonderful customers and hope you all have an amazing summer!

Taking these basketballs to the next level with some texturizing. It was time consuming, but SO worth it! I hope the birthday girl loves these as much as I do!
