Chef Jack is in the kitchen again!! I can’t stress it enough…teaching kids to be independent, confident, and safe in the kitchen early is a valuable gift to your little ones. 🍞🍳 Jack is 10 and woke up this morning wanting French toast for breakfast. He said sit back momma, I’m going to make it, so I did just that! Sat and drank my coffee ☕️ and did not lift a finger except to take down ingredients he couldn’t reach. He cooked, plated and cleaned up his mess 🙌. The pride on his face at being capable and trusted to do this on his own is such a gift 💗. #lifelessons #momlife #kidsinthekitchen #independentkids

I love this yearly tradition of a 4th of July bike/ scooter parade for the kids. Our neighborhood family meets in the pool parking lot and the kids ride down the street to Miss Jenna’s pool to kickoff the 4th of July ! Jack and John had a burger competition tonight!!!! They both made sliders separately and we all had to vote for the one we liked best!
