Laying season is back in full swing and our daughter has taken over the role of chicken tender. She is selling our farm fresh eggs at Countryside Eatery, available between 7 and 12:30, Thursdays through Saturdays.
Our kidding season is over and we have three kids left looking for a home! Info below each pic- reach out for more info.
We think this little guy is pretty awesome. He comes from some of our best genetics on both sides and we are excited to keep him as a new herdsire! We need you to help us with a name for him: Comment below with any ideas 😊
For reference, his sire is Gideon and his dam is Loretta.
This sweet F4 mini Nubian buckling is MDGA registerable and available to be reserved for pickup after weaning. He has a combo of bottle feeds and mom so will be friendly but know how to be a goat, too. He is built beautifully with milk genetics to back it! Look at those ears!
This sweet little F4 mini Nubian doeling is now available as a bottle baby to the right home! Great milk lines on both sides.
Edit: Sold
We are up to 11 kids with one doe left to go! We are especially anticipating Loretta’s first freshening in the next few days. Her pedigree is absolutely phenomenal! Here are some of our 2023 kids so far with notation of who is available as of today 😍
Some pregnant bellies at the new less waste (hopefully) hay feeder today
Kidding season started this week and we are so thrilled! I’m working my way through our waitlist and will be posting some specifics soon. Here are some of our sweet mini Nubian babies ❤️
The gentleman are ready for breeding season, scheduled to start in about 2 weeks! Here they are staring at the ladies on the other side of the pasture.
We are so excited to welcome Circle J Farm Gideon! He has some incredible genetics behind him and new bloodlines for us. We can’t wait to see what he adds to our breeding program!
We have MILK and EGGS for sale!
Goat Milk: $3.50 per half gallon
Farm Fresh Eggs $3.25 per dozen
Take some home today! In stock at Kutztown Home & Farm Center or send us a message to arrange local pickup.
Our milk is labelled for pet use only. It is a healthy treat for your dogs and cats, or a diet staple for bottle goats, calves, and other growing animals. Our herd was tested this Spring and is certified to be disease-free. We use exceptionally clean milking practices so that you can feel confident in our products!
Meet Mississippi Belle, my keeper doeling this year! She is a first generation mini Nubian out of our purebred Nubian Missy and our purebred Mini Nubian Finlay. I think she’s pretty special 😍 She represents the first step in breeding our own line of mini Nubians.
Everyone is outside soaking up the sunshine today. Naptime on the farm!
Adorable little faces! The babies like to play outside even though it’s a cold day. They jump around and then warm up in the barn or the dogloo before they go out again! You can see them peeking out from the dogloo in a few of the pictures.
Babies everywhere!! So much cuteness 😍
It has been a whirlwind here with 3 new litters of goat kids in 3 days!! Individual kid pictures will follow. They are all so unique and beautiful. This batch included 5 doelings and 2 bucklings. What a great way to finish off the 2022 kidding season!
Our herd queen, Flute, kidded a single Nigerian dwarf doeling late last night! This girl is big and sassy, just like her momma. I’m loving her markings!
Enjoying these gorgeous bucklings! The tan spotted boy is spoken for, the darker one is still available.
We had more kids this past frigidly cold weekend! Lucy kidded twin bucklings, both with blue eyes and gorgeous markings 😍
Kidding season has begun! Rosetta finally released her adorable little hostages… Triplets: 2 bucklings and 1 doeling (the black and white is the doeling). All gorgeous purebred mini Nubians from incredible milk lines. Rosie is doing great, such a good momma too!
Baby watch starts this week! As usual, Rosetta is first up, and quite miserable today. Poor sweet girl.
Bellies are growing and kidding season starts in 2 weeks here!
Our breeding season is over and we are expecting goat kids starting at the end of February. I am so excited to see the adorable babies that our goats produce this year. We will have lots of mini Nubians as well as some Nigerian dwarfs up for consideration in the Spring. The soaps are full of moisture, great lather, and smell so good! They make perfect gifts for the holidays too. Stop in and give them a try!
It’s a hard life being a barn cat! Lenna and Xena are great mousers and very well loved by our children. Also, they are sisters and it’s adorable how much they love each other.
The last of this year’s goat kids have left for their new homes and we have added some exciting additions over the past several weeks! Meet Loretta, Patches, Lucy, and Luna ❤️
Missy has really been enjoying her daily back massages and it’s hilarious to watch 😂
