I spent this past weekend using my camera to capture moments created by great friends. This friend group is like no other & I’m so blessed to be have been welcomed into it. We spent our day celebrating the memory of a great friend & raising money to start a memorial scholarship. The turn out was amazing!

As I work my way culling through these images I am feeling inspired to do a giveaway. But not just any giveaway, I want to give a session to someone who gives without bounds, someone who you feel is an amazing friend, that ONE OF A KIND friend!

Isaac Wiltgen graduated from Crestwood High School in 2012 and went on to graduate from Iowa State University in 2016. Isaac loved a lot of things in his life, some being friends, family, sports, and the outdoors. He had a lot of pride for being a Crestwood graduate and you could often find him in the summer wearing his Crestwood practice jersey on the river. He also loved every part of attending Iowa State. Isaac passed away in July of 2023 after a short but courageous battle with stomach cancer. To keep his Crestwood and Iowa State pride alive, Isaac’s closest friends decided to establish a scholarship in his memory. Along with Isaac’s family, they are planning a memorial golf outing in Cresco on July 13, 2024 to raise the money needed to start the scholarship fund. The hope is to raise money so that this scholarship can be offered for years to come and that Crestwood graduates can have the experiences Isaac did at Iowa State. More details about the golf outing will be announced via a Facebook event page.

This session was by far one of the most memorable & fun sessions I have done for a family to date so far! So much laughter, love and FUN was had during this creative family session! When I decided to rebrand and add more creative sessions to the mix I did a model call for families who were willing to do something fun and creative together!

Oh man did they ever show up and show off! After getting to know this family a little I found out they LOVE to play games together, so I suggested we add a little twist to the game twister & they were so down to go with the idea!

Oh man was the final product just magic✨ thank you so much for allowing me to capture you family as your true authentic selves!

1. Brain coral that I scored for a DOLLAR!

2. Purchased a new to me 2016 Honda CR-V Saturday, a much needed but worked very hard for upgrade! Room for all our future adventures with the dogs!

3. One of the MANY signs for heaven I received this weekend I was able to capture on photos & am able to keep forever!

4. Watching my guy be the uncle he so loves to be!

5. My line broke so I got to read, enjoy the sun & watch everyone fish.
