New double breasted suit

I went with a lower lapel gorge on this suit. Instead of the peak lapel sitting way up near shoulder, it rests on the chest.
•
Lapel gorges seem to move up and down as time goes on and are beginning to creep back down again after a phase of sitting almost on the shoulder. A welcome change in style for me.
•

What kind of fabrics are you into this summer❓

For me, it’s linens and linen blends. Whether it’s linen/cotton or wool/linen/silk…I’m all for them!

As far as colors go…browns, tans, oranges, greens. Pretty non-tradtional summer colors 😂. But hey, the rules are meant to be broken right!

This 100% linen safari jacket is 260gsm. With a heavier weight linen like this, the wrinkles are larger and fewer than they would be with a lighter weight.

Who says herringbone is only for fall/winter⁉️

Herringbone is perfectly acceptable in the warmer months as long as the fabric blend and weight are appropriate for the season.

This wool/linen/silk blend at 295g is perfect for the warmer months and provides incredible texture to go along with it!

Recently designed a DB jacket using this fabric that will be great for 3 seasons. I’ll be able to share the finished garment in a few weeks 👊 stay tuned!

They are both from the 🇺🇸 but met here in 🇨🇳 after being connected by a mutual friend. Right after Covid started, he left the country to go back home while she stayed. Little did they know, they would spend the next 9 months apart after China closed it’s borders.

After months of texting and Zoom calls, he was able to return, he prosposed, and they set a date to get married. They decided to get married here in China to avoid quarantining going back and forth to the US!
