Profiled and shoulders squared up.

Finished up these five for Jeff Davidson Custom Knives

I'd rather be working on knives.

Still more sanding to do on the handle but it's getting close to being done.

Trying to figure out what type of finish I want to use for this Wolfhound.

Wait one one, work on another. Rough shaped the scales for another Wolfhound. Got the fronts beveled, sanded and buffed.

A little glue up following surface grinding.

Making sure they are flat. 80+ blades surfaced ground since Monday

Let me introduce another one of our instructors for the Hammer-In.
Keven John of is coming to demo about knife performance vs. purpose.
Keven is a long time knife user and collector turned maker.
He’s been aend user of knives for over 45 years.
We call him Sasquatch be cause of his big paws and he can definitely wail on a knife and push its limits. He believes first and foremost a knife should excel at the task it’s designed for. This is a combination of where intelligent design, heat treatment, and edge geometry all come together.
Keven strives to make hard use knives designed with customers with large & small hands hands in mind.
He might look like a grumpy ogre but he’s a super nice guy.
Come learn about making a knife that works, feels good in the hand and is enjoyable to use.
