We are looking forward to celebrating the upcoming Independence Day this coming Tuesday, July 4th. We will be closed for business that both Monday and Tuesday honor of our founding fathers.

Our Independence Day, also called Fourth of July or July 4th, in the United States is the annual celebration of nationhood. It commemorates the passage of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776. Interestingly, the Congress had voted in favor of independence from Great Britain on July 2 but did not actually complete the process of revising the Declaration of Independence, originally drafted by Thomas Jefferson in consultation with fellow committee members John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Roger Sherman, and William Livingston, until two days later.

So even in those days deadlines and dues dates sometimes got pushed due to unforeseen delays. In hindsight that 2 day delay did not have much if any impact on the long term viability of our country. But, in many cases a 2-day delay to many of our customers is unacceptable as their businesses success depends on dated materials or event specific needs.

We, at 4 Color Press, always take your due dates seriously and will communicate upfront what timeline is best to be early or at the latest on time. Upfront communication with your deadline needs in the pre-planning stage so that we can have your order staged properly will allow us to plan for the various task need to complete your order.
