The panel discussion was moderated by @calebmbell, Curator at the Tyler Museum of Art and featured artists, Linda Blackburn, Daniel Blagg, and John Hartley. The discussion was held on Thursday, October 21, 2021. The artists spoke about their pieces currently on view at Artspace111 as well as how their work has evolved over the years. They discussed their relationships and previous roles within various Fort Worth art institutions, combining all of their personal stories and observations, the conversation offered a glimpse of the rich Fort Worth scene and how it has evolved over the years.

Because if you haven’t seen this, you NEED to! “It is Time” by Alicia Eggert ( @aplaceintheuniverse ) lives outside by our mural painted by Emily Ding ( @_emilyding )🎨 This flashing neon sign was commissioned by TED and made in collaboration with David Moinina Sengeh to create a sense of urgency- and ownership- about climate change. The words, “MY, YOUR, OUR, and ABOUT” flash on and off in the center so that the sign says “IT IS MY TIME,” “IT IS YOUR TIME,” “IT IS OUR TIME,” and “IT IS ABOUT TIME.” The sign was displayed on a trailer and driven around Dallas, Texas on 10.10.2020 as part of a global art action organized by Fine Acts: ten public artworks, all launching on the same day in cities around the world, in support of Countdown -TED’s global initiative to champion and accelerate solutions to the climate crisis.
