Rugged Grizzly Woodworking
Building things in my shop when I’m not taking care of my son. Thanks for checking out the page! C
Slapped this together the other day
Got it secured down and running
It's not perfect, but for slapped together from scraps in under an hour... it's not all bad haha
I may, or may not, have been sanding today. And I may, or may not, have worn my watch while maybe, or maybe not, sanding today...
Very rough clamp session. Still have some joining, planing and sanding to do before these get permanently attached...
This pallet wood project will be the death of me
Finally finished squaring up the pallet wood and started laying out the half-laps on the base of this cabinet
Someone bought this from my work, cut a notch in this corner for some godforsaken reason, and then returned it. Work couldn't resell it so I got it for free. Find some scraps. Slap some glue and a clamp and we see how it looks tomorrow
Getting started on something new
We're out here turning beat up pallet wood into pretty things
Finished Beau Beaus box today. I hope you like it, Beau Beau. I miss you, pal.
The downside to breaking down pallets indoors
First and second attempts at hand cut box joints. Far from perfect but slowly moving in the right direction
What happens when you are sweating your ass off and not paying attention? That one little Dewalt charger ends up slightly crooked and now makes my brain itchy hahaha
With my son bein home for the summer, I don’t have nearly as much time to build. This is almost done… finally hahaha
I’m need this wood glue to dry already!!!
Back at it finally!! It’s been awhile. I ended up having 3 surgeries in a year and recovery took forever. First one was 1/22/22 and the third was 1/20/23. Starting off slow and easy with a build for the wife. It’s good to be back!
Finally getting back at it
It’s been awhile, so time for a quick update:
Cast finally came off my thumb this past Tuesday. Had surgery on my ankle on Friday.
Everything is going well. Hopefully back at it late February/early March
Cheers!
Had a do-over surgery on my thumb on 10/13. Just had my 8 week post op follow up. After x-rays, decided my thumb isn’t ready. So, new cast put on. This one comes off 1/17/23. Original thumb surgery was 1/25/22…
Oh, and I have surgery on my ankle 1/20/23…
