Just cleaned my food pantry and found all this goodies that I personally haven't been eating or using so I'm taking it to Program RISE for our SSP clients.
There is a lot of people facing food insecurities and I bet you right now that you can fill upt one or two bags of food items that are just taking up space in the food pantry.
Some items with expiration dates are still usable and other people can use them so I asked if you can go through your pantry and gather any good food itmes that are still edible and good for you to donate you can inbox me and I can make arrangements to pick it up.

March 20th 2022 is National Native American HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.
National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day was first observed in 2007. This day is observed on the first day of Spring each year. The 2022 observance is recognized on March 20th.
The theme for 2022 is “Reflection. Celebration. Rejuvenation.”
The National Native HIV Network plans the observance each year. The observance is a national mobilization effort designed to encourage Native people (American Indians, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians) across the United States and Territorial Areas to get educated, get tested, get involved in prevention, and get treated for HIV.
My coworker recently released a song called "Give Me Help" by Diggity Dom that speaks about asking for help. If you or someone you know is afraid to ask for help, please send this to them.

Sometimes we, as people, humans, and in my case, as a community provider, go thru life situations, and we as providers don't know how to ask for help. So we get scared and forget that we are also consumers, and we are also people and humans, and it is ok to ask for help.
In the past and most recently, I have faced a few tricky situations and adversities, but I was able to text and call people, including my supervisor at work and say I needed help, and I did F, Y, and Z !
My coworker, an up-and-coming artist Dominic Glaude, our HIV Outreach Specialist at Boston GLASS, A Program of JRI Health in Boston, composed and put together this excellent production and I would like to share with you all.
If you've ever been afraid to ask for help, this song is for you! Give Me Help By Diggity Dom featuring Frzy is available to stream or purchase here: https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/dig...

For providers working with people living with and at high risk for HIV/AIDs.
The Health Law Institute at JRI Health will be hosting two training sessions regarding obtaining Puerto Rico birth certificates for clients to renew their M.A. IDs under the REAL ID Act. You may have heard that Puerto Rico invalidated all birth certificates issued before July 1, 2010, and as a result, most Puerto Ricans need to order a new birth certificate. At the same time, the REAL ID Act requires that all M.A. residents show proof of U.S. citizenship or lawful presence to obtain or renew their MA ID (even if they already had a MA ID). Most residents will need to provide a valid U.S. passport or birth certificate to do so.
If you or anyone is interested, please inbox me directly, or you can email Sarah Benjamin at [email protected] or myself at [email protected]

[ID: A flyer with an image of the poet and many words. In the bottom left, poet and educator Alison C Rollins poses with hands on hips and a big smile. She is wearing a black skirt, a beautifully bright patterned top belted at the waist, and her loose coily hair hangs to her chest. The text reads: "Generative Poetry Workshop
with ALISON C. ROLLINS, Thursday April 8 @ 7pm via Zoom. Apophenia : the tendency to mistakenly perceive connections and meaning between unrelated things. In this writing workshop, we’ll use this psychological phenomenon to explore its impact on a writer’s approach to crafting images. Through a variety of exercises, we’ll sharpen your ability to engage in “re-vision” through generating imaginative associations. And we’ll explore the power of metaphor to engage in meaning-making when writing creatively.
Register at bit[dot]ly/FPL-Events by 5pm on April 8 to join.
ABOUT ALISON C. ROLLINS: Alison C. Rollins is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Colorado College. Why are we celebrating ? Because are the core of our movements; Because women deserve dignity, safety, and respect; Because we are women, friends of women, lovers of women, & allies/accomplices to women; Because sexism and gender-based violence are systems we're still fighting; Because "Women Are Powerful and dangerous" (Audre Lorde)
