“Road Warriors “, oil on panel, 6” x 12”, is included in Abend gallery’s “Animalia” show. It pays tribute to the movie but also to the car culture that I grew up with. At one time I had a red Firebird with oversized tires and Kragar rims. Way too much car for me, but I had fun! “She’ll do a hundred and forty with the top end floored…”

Thrilled to have my painting “Going to Cali”, oil, 6” x 12”, included in Abend Gallery’s “Animalia 3” exhibit. “I’ve been walking Central Park, singing after dark…”

My painting “Hanging Out”, oil, 16” x 20” will be on exhibit at the Dana Gallery in Montana as part of the National Oil and Acrylic Painters “Best of America” exhibition. I wish I could attend as I am getting the honor of becoming a Signature member. Montana is on my bucket list because of its legendary trout streams. “Moving to Montana soon, going to be a dental floss tycoon..” lol!

Here’s the finished pic of “Let’s Dance”, 6” x 6”, oil on panel. Currently available at Abend gallery. A lot of folks my age won’t admit to ever having liked disco. You know “death to disco” and all that. I admit to getting caught up in it. I had the tailored leather jacket that could only get on Delancey street in Brooklyn. I had flairs and cowboy boots, I was in all the way. When my wife and I spent our honeymoon at Cove Haven in the Poconos they had a miniature discotheque where we showed off our newly learned “hustle” moves, lol. What would a wedding be without disco, I’ve got one coming up, I’ll have to relearn the moves, Disco Duck!
