Allowing children to peel and cut fruits and vegetables helps them gain independence, develop concentration and build fine motor control. 🔪🍌🥒🍎🥕As a bonus, children are more inclined to eat new foods when they helped prepare the food. From Sheep to Sweater! Today we had a special visit from our friendly neighbor, Ms. Patty, Budding Creek Farm. She shared with us how she turns the wool from her sheep into yarn to make clothes. The children even had a go on the spinning wheel! 🐑🧶
