It was truly a pleasure to work on a custom piece that holds so much history. A friend brought in an Indian Fishing Weight they’d found in a creek and had been wearing for the last seven years—imagine the stories it could tell! They asked me to add a little life to it by wrapping it, and I was excited to rise to the challenge.

Considering they are a Cancer Sun and are working towards some significant goals, I was mindful to select crystals that would resonate with their needs while honoring the simplicity of the stone. I wanted to keep the design simple to not detract from the natural amazingness that the stone carries on its own. Here’s what I chose:

• Red Jasper for grounding and strength, to help them stay centered and resilient.
• Moonstone, because it’s Cancer’s ruling planet and perfect for aiding in balancing emotions.
• Carnelian for motivation, to energize them and encourage steadfastness towards their goals.
• Aquamarine, which means “sea water”—a nod to Cancer’s crab symbol, supporting flow and reflection.
• Hematite for protection, to shield and secure their energetic space.

Being able to enhance this already cherished piece with such powerful energies was an honor. Each stone was selected not only for its beauty but for its ability to support and uplift. I’m thrilled to have had the opportunity to contribute to this piece’s journey with its owner.

New Moon is tonight. Ryder and I are going for a hike and going to meditate on what we want to create for ourselves.

How exciting is it to have Leo in New Moon and Lion’s Gate Portal this week? Leo energy always feels like sun rays on my skin, sunglasses on, and like I had just the perfect amount of caffeine after winning $500 on a $2 scratch off.

Last August for Lion’s Gate Portal I did some massive goal setting. Here we are sitting in OUR own brick and mortar shop. The synchronisities that happen on an almost daily basis can’t be ignored. We are where we are suppose to be.

So, I’m interested to hear what everyone else is working on for this New Moon in Leo🦁♌️📝.

When we want something new in our lives – a love story, a dream job, or a fresh adventure – we need to make sure we’re the version of ourselves that can resonate at the frequency needed to sustain what we called in. And here’s the key: it’s all about doing that inner work!

Shadow work is about diving deep into the parts of ourselves we usually keep tucked away – our fears, our doubts, our past pains. It’s about shining a light on these shadows, understanding them, and letting them go. This helps us shake off those low-vibe energies that don’t fit into our rad new chapter.
