We have THREE skaters who just leveled up from the Freshie program who just completed their first practice with the vet skaters! Congratulations to Harlot O'Scara, F-Bomb, and Cheyenne. We are so proud of you!!!!

Tomorrow is Veterans Day! A portion of the proceeds from our fundraiser tomorrow will benefit TALMAR.

TALMAR offers a Veterans Affairs Farming and Recovery Mental Health Services (VA FARMS) program to veterans enrolled in services at the VA Maryland Health Care System. TALMAR’s VA FARMS program is a hands-on work therapy program where participants learn on a vegetable & cut flower farm in central Maryland.

3 FRD skaters are headed to La Plata to play in RedRum vs. Slashers Roller Derby Bout with 301 Derby Dames ! Devastation is on RedRum and Slaughtermelon and JK Jakes are on Slashers - y'all are making it tough for us to decide who to cheer for!!!! But you're all going to kill it on the track!!!! 🔪

Bring the kids to the Charles County Fairgrounds for our 4th Annual Trunk or Treat, then watch us play roller derby in our vs game! Who will take the win this year? No one knows for sure, but it'll be an epic battle you won't want to miss. Bleacher seating will be available and we've got new merch for sale.

What an amazing bout!!!! were amazing opponents and even better hosts. Thank you for making our first (real) away game as a skater-run league so special!!! We cannot say thank you enough.

Our skaters made us proud on the track yesterday! They worked so hard and stayed calm and worked as a team the whole time. Their hard work is showing! And though we have a blast together every single time we take the track, this might have been the most fun game we've ever played!

We missed posting about National Coaches Day by a few hours, but only because we have late Friday night practices and didn't want to spoil the surprise for our head coach Zombabe! Thank you to all of our coaches who put in their time, knowledge, and care into training our skaters. We are so lucky to have so many awesome coaches, for both vet skaters and freshies. And we're going to see how all that work paid off at our game later TODAY!!!
