Every year New Year Resolutions are made. However, according to research only 9-12% people stick with their new year resolutions.
23% will quit by end of 1st week 😯 and 43% will quit by end of January!
WHY????
1. Decide to change too many things at once; more than 4-5 resolutions for the year.
2. Forget about their resolutions 🙈
3. Have unrealistic resolutions.
So how can you be in those top 9-12% population who stick with their new year resolutions?
Here are my top 3 tips for you to stick with your ‘24 resolutions:
1. Have maximum of 2 resolutions/goals to work on this year.
2. Know your “WHY.” Why do you want to make the resolutions? Is it because your friend is having the same? Is it because it is the most popular resolution. Know your own reason!
3. Make your goals realistic and tie with an activity that is part of your daily routine. For example - Going to gym right after dropping kids to school or going to gym after brushing teeth. Depending upon what is your resolution.

Steel cut oats, Oat groats are the best when it comes to making oatmeal for breakfast🙌
For overnight oats old fashioned rolled oats can be used instead.
Add plant based milk of choice, flaxseed powder, ground chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, fruits- banana, apple, berries, grapes or any other fruit of choice.
Drizzle balsamic vinegar on top for added health benefits.

Good News! High cholesterol, high blood pressure can be reduced simply by changing what’s on your plate 🍽️
Simply Avoid food high in saturated fats and highly processed foods. Eat food high in fiber and Whole Foods.

Millets are whole grains packed with fiber. Fiber helps with fullness, satiety and bowel movements.
Pulses- are high in carbs and protein. Again helping with fullness and curb’s cravings.
Ivy gourd or tindora or tendi helps control blood sugar level spike and is good for people suffering from diabetes.

You don’t have to give up your favorite food going .
You just modify the way the way of eating. Replace white bread with whole grain ( brown rice) lots of greens, healthy fats (avocado).
It’s not the Fruit but FATS should be avoided to prevent and reverse Diabetes.
Foods such as all meat, chicken, egg, oils, butter, cheese, ghee.

🥕Yes winter special treat- plant based, no added sugar Carrot/Gajar Halwa. Eat without worrying about weight gain 🤣
Recipe
2 lbs carrots ( red ones) shred in food processor
1 cup soy milk
1 cup dates cut into pieces.
Cardamom powder, almonds for garnish.
In instant pot add carrot, soy milk, dates and pressure cook for 1 minute.
Quick release the pressure.
Add 1/2-3/4 cup date sugar depending on desired sweetness
Keep stirring on sauté mode until all milk evaporates. Approx 10-15 minutes.
Garnish with cardamom powder, silvered almonds.
Enjoy hot or cold 😋😋😋
