We are still reeling from an incredible end to our week in Disneyland for West Coast Finals! Thank you to everyone on the Showstopper team for hosting such an exciting event! Congratulations to all the dancers and studios from around the world that we shared the stage with, it was an inspiring day (and week!) of dancing!

A huge congratulations to Isabel, our new Intermediate Teen Solo National Champion from KAR Finals in Anaheim! Thank you and congrats to Isabel, we are so proud of you! ❤️

We are deeply saddened to share the news that Robin Ellis, father to Miss Erin and Miss Megan and husband to Marlene, passed away very unexpectedly last weekend.

Robin has been a dance dad for Yoko’s Dance since the day the studio doors were opened 29 years ago, back when Miss Erin and Miss Megan were still students. He has been at countless competitions and not missed one of our Yoko’s recitals in all our years of operation, even driving the prop truck to our 29th recital two weeks ago! He has been a huge part of our studio over the years, helping to build our sprung floors, setting up over 20 Christmas trees each holiday season and always being our designated prop loader/truck driver. Many of our dancers and their families have gotten to know Robin over the years and experience his friendly, easygoing and supportive personality. We are all better for knowing him. To say he will be missed is an understatement, but we will continue on in his memory and always remember how much of Robin’s heart and soul was put into Yoko’s Dance.

Thank you for an incredible week of dancing in Las Vegas! Our dancers had a wonderful time taking classes and performing on your stages. We also loved watching Fiona complete her season as Junior Female Best Dancer by assisting in classes and performing on your stage ❤️ Congratulations Fi on a great season!

We had a great time at our final convention of the year! Thank you to everyone for giving us such a great weekend to close out our regional season! Our dancers had the opportunity to take so many inspiring classes, and it was a real treat to watch 2023 Best Dancer assisting and performing on the 24Seven stage!
