We had an amazing time during our Saturday school today ! Saturday school is open to the public ! So please feel free to join us next Saturday, February 18th from 10am-12pm at the African American Cultural and Historical Museum as we continue to celebrate Black History Month.

Thank you to @d7esparza for recognizing and seeing the work that is being done here at the African American Museum! Yesterday was an emotional day our team, board, and community. We have fought long and hard to stand where we stand today. We have been an example of Resilience and so this Proclamation was very fitting for our institution. Our Executive Director spoke about the unity we need to have to go far together and our board members, Sabrina Kelley, Dr. Carolyn Drake, Rona Ledderman, and Henry Ellard Jr. were there to represent the museum and receive this proclamation. Thank you to everyone that showed up yesterday! The life of an institution is the life within the institution. Today is a new day. Today we speak life!
