Hi! Sorry, I've been out of town and MIA 😊 but here's a 8.5 hour color correction that had me questioning my hairstylist skills! I didn't know if I wanted to cry and or why I signed up for this! 😅 luckily, the hair gods were with me on this one and it turned out better than we had imagined. Not everything was perfect, we did lose about 5 inches of her length due to old bleach she had midway down and tried to salvage the rest.

Hair Extensions: For those of you who have been asking which method I have in my hair and which method I do on my clients, I do an invisible bead method. This method is by far the most comfortable method and the most seamless that I've had.
For those who are inquiring about hair extensions, I only do installations, you'll have to provide the hair which we can discuss. 😊

This before photo is a perfect example of why a lot of times I will refuse to do a half grown out black hair dye client. Before wasn't done by me but thankfully the stylist she went to did half the work for me already 😊. Luckily her hair was somewhat able to handle a little more bleaching to get her to the silver/gray she wanted without too much compromising. We did have some fragile ends that we had to snip off, but overall happy client! 🙆‍♀️

My client has been gone for 3 months without coming to see me for her 6-8 weeks' maintenance! We had to take off her extensions and because she was also super yellow/orange from the HOT water she had been washing her hair with (ladies stay away from hot water if you're a blonde) we glossed her and re-installed her extensions. 😍

We' were going for more of a blondish ashy caramel, but due to the forgotten permanent color she had in her hair which created lots of unwanted bands we had to take a different route so we ended up with more of an ashy brown. 🫠

Let's talk about bleach damage. It's a topic no one wants to discuss because everyone who goes blonde wants to believe hairstylist are magician's, but we all know that's not the case, so let's get to discussing it. Everyone wants to be blonde, some more blonde than others. After bleaching, does the texture feel different? Does it feel dry? Does it feel unmanageable compared to what your natural virgin hair feels like?
That is the feel of what comes with bleached hair. You get dry, brittle, and hay like hair that breaks off. Eventually, I'll have to tell you we can no longer continue the blonde life.
If you don't like dry, brittle, and hay like hair, then blonde life isn't for you.

We did a touch up and went ash blonde

Note that ash (cool tone) will make your hair look darker as ash has gray. It's not for everyone. Depending on if you are getting outdoor or indoor, lighting colors may differ. Ash tones will appear bright and icy with ring light and outdoor lighting. Indoor lighting will appear darker with a gray tint. If you are wanting a bright blonde without a gray tint or looking dark, you would actually need to consider doing a warm blonde vs a cool blonde.
