HandsOn @ Work! 🤚🏽🫶🏽Thank you to the Noble Credit Union employees and their families that joined us for the HandsOn @ Work- BeNoble Volunteer Project! This project had us supporting the Fresno Police Activities League’s “Super Saturday”- Fresno PAL Defenders Flag Football Championship on June 1, 2024. We had an amazing turn out with 150 youth total, 75 players, and 6 additional nonprofits, businesses, and local programs. Team BeNoble showed up in force to support with booths, games, set up, being a part of the “hype team”, and food prep for this amazing event. Noble employees also got to be a part of the community on a deeper level while increasing the visibility and service that goes along with BeNoble initiatives. Throughout the event several parents expressed how excited they were for their child and family to be celebrated in an accessible event for families that often cannot participate in other sports activities. Many of the players shared their joy in feeling like superstars or pro athletes with fans like the Noble volunteers cheering for their teams with pom poms, posters, and everyone joining in for the HUGE human tunnel. We’d like to thank Noble for joining us in this collaborative event that truly demonstrates how impactful we all can be when we link arms to serve one another through civic engagement. It was definitely a Super Saturday for these youth and their families. This week our Fresno Street Saints team has been running Winter Enrichment Camp for Fresno Unified School District students @ The House of Miracles Faith Ministries in Southwest Fresno. Students have had lots of fun and activities to keep them engaged during Winter break. They’ve already had a gingerbread house competition, made s’mores, made faux snow, and made greeting cards for houseless neighbors in the community. The kids have been having a great time…. Almost as much as the mentors and leaders. #fresnostreetsaints #southwestfresno #wintercamp
