The environment in ones home can cause the carpet to expand ever so slightly and reveal bubbles or ripples that are not as evident in the dry winter months.

We at Performance Floorcovering can get rid of them regardless of the time of year! We can move furniture as needed and stretch your existing carpet so it it flat again. Adds life to your existing carpet. It’s a good thing to do before getting your carpets cleaned as well. We can usually fit re stretching carpet, or as we call it “Carpet Tune Ups”, onto our schedule pretty quickly if need be but give us a call and we would love to help you out!

We have been getting a lot of questions about the best vacuums to use with the new carpet. We generally tell our clients to get a vacuum that has adjustable height settings, raise the height all the way and then lower until the be**er bar brush just starts to make contact with the carpet. The brush is just to agitate the fiber a little and then good suction does the rest. If the brush is too low it can damage the carpet and the vacuum.
